TOPIC OF MY RESEARCH:

Topic of my research is preparation of the transparent alumina exhibiting light induced emission properties by wet shaping technique.

WHY I HAVE CHOSEN THE TOPIC:

I have chosen this topic due to my previous several years work on research of alumina, its preparation and optimization focused on increasing optical transparency. Adding a property of photoluminescence will increase the application potential of this material.

USE OF THE PROJECT RESULTS IN PRACTICE:

The results of the research can be used for production of new materials suitable for energy saving light sources and dosimeters, namely phosphorus for HB LED diodes or lasers.

WHY SOMOPRO:

I have applied for SoMoPro because it enables me to focus on the research in progress, which is very promising and interesting and on the workplace with top-class equipment for this research. I believe that the work and research environment will help me to develop my knowledge and experience and enable me to apply for further grants on the joint research.
