Field of Study: Genomics and Proteomics
About my project
The project aims to research and develop a new bioinformatic platform for the identification of genetic lesions of Leukemics Patients.
Aim of the project is the fast development and translation of a bioinformatics platform in the daily clinical diagnosis of Leukaemia. Together with Next Generation Sequencing Technology, the bioinformatics platform will provide a better and more detailed DNA genetic profiling of patients which is fundamental to design a personalised treatment.
Where I see myself in my career in 10 years
I aim to achieve all the requirements for PhD title within autumn 2019 and then write and discuss the PhD thesis in spring/summer 2020. During the PhD studies, together with improving my professional skills I am establishing connections with people working in different research fields. I believe that a strong international network is necessary to support my future research interests and to set up a comprehensive research team in the field of clinical biology.
What I like most about Brno
It is quite and well organised city; I love walking around the Spilberk Castle.
