Discover the World of Architecture and Urban Planning

Location: Brno City Architect's Office, Public Institution, Zelný trh 331/13, Brno

Time and program of individual meetings will be specified in September.

Participants of the club will have the opportunity to get closely acquainted with the work of a team of architects tasked with preparing the new Master Plan for the city of Brno, designing urban and transport studies, contributing to the improvement of public spaces, organizing architectural competitions, and coordinating the construction of flood protection measures.

The program includes:

• Excursions to see city architecture that promotes quality living, and visits to the Faculty of Architecture at Brno University of Technology, among others,
• Discussions with experts,
• 20 hours of teamwork on a project,
• A mini-course on presentation skills,
• A final STEAM Slam – presentations of work and meetings with SOČ winners, researchers, Ph.D. students,
• A certificate of completion – which can be added to the student ePortfolio at https://www.startid.cz/,
• The possibility of continuing with work in SOČ,
• Participation is FREE.
