About the project

Solid-state batteries represent an alternative to Li-ion batteries, which are approaching their theoretical limits. A significant challenge in their development is the lack of tools for comprehensive microstructural analysis. In our project, we combine correlative electron and probe microscopy to study the microstructure and degradation processes during battery cycling.

Why science?

I am most passionate about the application of applied science, where new knowledge intersects with current problems. Such interactions often lead to elegant and practical solutions that can have a real impact on the lives around us.

What do I like most about Brno

Primarily because there are many friends and plenty of entertainment. Although it is a larger, developed city with many opportunities, it still retains the relaxed atmosphere of a smaller town.
