Field: Environmental Health Sciences
About the project
Prenatal environmental exposure to chemicals could play a role in the later development of non-communicable diseases (NCD). In order to decipher these exposures, cutting-edge analytical methods based on (HRMS are suitable for chemical profiling a of the chemical exposome in placentas samples. The purpose of the DECRIPT project is to develop a robust and standardized methodology to apply these analytical chemistry approaches to assess the chemical exposure of placenta, from large cohort studies.
Why science?
Science and research fascinate me for a long time. I want to understand the functioning of what surrounds me, to feed my curiosity, and I think that science also allows extremely beneficial and important social advances.
What do I like most about Brno
Not currently living there, I only visited for a short period of one week last year. So I didn't see much but I liked the atmosphere of the city center, the animation and I saw many restaurants that made me want to go.
