About the project
The main goal of this project is to design, prepare and apply fluorescent gold magnetic nanoparticles for isolation and detection of molecules. A fluorescent molecularly imprinted polymer will be prepared on the surface of commercial gold magnetic nanoparticles. Thanks to its properties, these nanoparticles will be a universal tool for specific isolation of imprinted molecules from the sample and allows utilisation in immunochemistry based method as a recognition element instead of antibodies.
Why science?
After I finish my doctoral studies, I would like to stay at a university and continue in science and research. I would like to have my own research group one day, and I hope that I will be able to successfully combine a scientific career and family life in the future.
What do I like most about Brno
Brno is my hometown, so I may have a sentimental relationship with it. I like how the city has prospered in recent years and how many exciting projects are being implemented here. I like Brno’s energy. It is known as students city, and you can see it everywhere. I never thought of living anywhere else for a long time.
