About the project
The doctoral research focuses on the complexity of arthropod food webs inside agricultural systems during winter periods. It will particularly focus on predator-prey interactions and the importance of natural predators serving as a biological control against pests. In addition, my central aspiration would be to introduce new methods and protocols for investigating ecological interactions by means of molecular methods.
Why science?
There is still a lot for me to accomplish and there is always uncertainty about my future career. Nevertheless, my dream is to become a professor in academia one day, so 10 years from now I hope I will get a position as an associate professor at a recognized University.
What do I like most about Brno
There is one thing I like the most about Brno - public transport. Because of such a well-organized transportation system, I have more free time to focus on my research, my hobbies and experience new things.
