WHO can apply for the "Brno PhD Talent" competition

Only the applicants who meet all of the following Eligibility Criteria at the time of submitting their applications may register for the competition.

Eligibility Criteria:

• study full-time at a partner university
• be enrolled in the first year of a doctoral study program *
  
• study technical or natural sciences

Only the applicants who succeed in the competition and are nominated as beneficiaries of the financial aid, declare officially that they have met the eligibility criteria before signing the agreement on financial aid. Compliance with the criteria can be documented by confirmation of study issued by the partner university.

Supported Fields of Study

The competition is opened to doctoral students of technical and natural sciences. Doctoral programs in the arts, humanities, social sciences or business are not supported.

At registration the applicants choose one of the four scientific panels according to the main focus of their studies and projects. The competition between the applicants runs separately within the four panels.

• Technical Sciences

Note:

* the tree-year scholarships cover the period from the 1st to the 3rd year of doctoral study
